About This Course

You will receive $200+ worth of tools & resources to keep as soon as you arrive, lodging on-site, outdoor fireside chats &/or outdoor movie night (weather permitting) AND meals may be available!

This non-destructive / covert entry curriculum was designed from the ground up for implementation by first responders at the Patrol level, up through Special Response Units and Top-Tier Teams, as well as the self-supported operator at any level.

This class consists of two 8-hour days packed full of our foundational Tactical Lock Picking curriculum. Upon arrival, students will receive our First Line Gear kit and our copy of our newly released Tactical Lock Picking hardcover book as their take-home curriculum reference. Topics will likely include:

  • Raking methods and picking methods for pin tumbler locks.
  • Bypassing door latches from the push and pull side. 
  • Padlock bypass options.
  • 4-Digit code breaking.
  • Combination lock decoding. 
  • Vehicle entries methods - introduction.
  • Restraint escape techniques - introduction.
  • Key Generation - introduction.
  • This is not a "Nighttime Operations" course, but some drills or training may occur during the evenings.
  • This course is suitable for Day-1 Beginners, as well as experienced professionals.

  • There is no wi-fi and limited cellular services at The Compound! So, notify your loved ones.
  • If you have dog-related allergies, please be aware that this is an active k9 training facility and pack antihistamines accordingly!

  • There is plenty of parking available on-site for those who will be driving their own
    vehicles! If you are coming from out of town, there are two airports near “The Shop,”
    ATL and Middle Georgia Regional Airport (MCN) in Macon. Plan your travel with the
    understanding that there are limited taxis, ride shares, and shuttle services
    available to this small town: “Groome Transportation” can take you from ATL to
    Macon-area [the town where MCN airport is]. Some MCN to "The Compound" transportation options can be found here, but you may need to (a) rent a vehicle, (b) find a ride-share, or (c) hail a taxi for 30-ish miles!
