Bump Keys 5 Pack

Okay... "Bump Keys". First up, some states/cities have listed them as "scary and illegal" so purchaser is responsible to be in compliance with all applicable laws (if you care to). Second, they are a niche tool for niche application. I would not make bump keys the lion's share of my entry concepts and would not start with it in the field if I had other tools available to me. But... third, I have always kept them in my 2nd Line Gear bag and I actually have used them before in the field as part of my entry options. 

When I teach my in-person courses, I often tell students that these tools almost never work for me but (and a big...but) my assistant instructors, and my students, can almost always get doors opened with bump keys better than I can. So, some tools work better in some people's hands over others'.

While I do carry these tools, and while they are not my first or second or third choice on scene, they DO work very well for a lot of people that I surround myself with. I think they make a very solid addition to your 2nd Line Gear bag.
